Cab Area:
A custom made pouch houses the backboard carried on the truck in front of the utility bed and behind the cab. It was made locally and has worked very well so far. Which has allowed a full size backboard to be carried without compromising space in the vehicle.
Vehicle work was completed by department members during 2005 which included all wiring of emergency lights, rhino coating the compartments and bed area, installation of the "Q" Siren and Speaker, and other work to make the truck ready for operation.
Rescue 15 responds first on all non auto accident Rapid Response medical calls and for brush fires. It also is the first truck out on water rescue calls as it used to tow boat 16 to the boat ramps for launching. Rescue 15 also responds for public service calls and for other special assignement calls including off road resuces and CO detector calls.
